Every year, families are surprised at how short BES's school supply list is—and that’s on purpose! We’re proud that the district provides most of the supplies. By purchasing in bulk and reusing what we can from year to year, we save families money, put old supplies to good use, and keep things simple.
It also means every child has the same materials, so no one feels bad showing up with a small crayon box while the person next to them has the mega-pack. We want every child to feel safe, seen, loved, and ready to have fun on the first day—not comparing supplies or stretching the budget. Elementary school is such a special time in every child’s life, and we can’t wait to fill our hallways with their smiles, laughter, and energy very soon! BES is the BEST!
