For the 19-20 school year, we will welcome 13 new staff members, as well as 11 co-teacher candidates from USD! Also, 3 current staff members have moved into new positions in our District.

If you would like to purchase a ticket to the Watchdog Hall of Fame Banquet meal, the cost is $25. Please call the District office at 605-763-4293 or email Rhonda.Peterson@k12.sd.us to reserve banquet meal tickets. The program at 7:00 p.m. is free and open to the public.
The Watchdog Hall of Fame Class of 2019 includes six individuals and one team: Sharon Olbertson and Dr. Peter Larsen—Academics/Achievement; Dennis Hegg—Fine Arts; Natalie (Carda) Board & Ken Bonte—Athletics; 1979 Boys’ Basketball Team; and Roger Price—Distinguished Service.
The 3rd Annual Watchdog Hall of Fame Banquet and Induction Ceremony will be held during Homecoming weekend on Saturday, September 28 at the Beresford Elementary Gym. The catered meal will be served at 6:00 p.m. and the program will follow at 7:00 p.m.
Congratulations to BHS senior Caleb Weiland who is one of two seniors in SD selected to attend Boys Nation in Washington, D.C. on July 19-26! Boys Nation is an annual American Legion program that includes civic training, leadership development, and a focus on Americanism.

Congratulations to Head Boys’ Track and Field Coach Matt Coy who was named the 2019 Area 2 Class “A” Coach of the Year by the SD Cross Country and Track and Field Coaches Assn. Coach Coy guided his Boys’ Team to a 4th place finish at this year’s State “A” Meet!
Congratulations to Maiya Muller on earning state medalist honors at the State “A” Golf Tourney!Maiya shot a 36-hole score of 179 to place 15th! Maiya is coached by her father, Brad Muller. Congratulations Maiya on a great season and we look forward to the next four years!
