Our District will host a Flu Immunization Clinic on Tuesday, Oct. 27 from 4-7 p.m. in the BHS Multi-purpose Room. The clinic is free and open to anyone between the ages of 3 and 18. Based on state regulations, facial coverings/masks are mandatory for all in attendance.
Congratulations to freshman Andrew Atwood on winning the Big East Conference Varsity Boys XC title yesterday at Volga! Also, congratulations to 8th grader Destiny Himanga on winning the JV Girls title! The Varsity Girls Team placed 2nd and the Varsity Boys Team placed 3rd.
Tomorrow, our Watchdogs will host Sioux Valley in a VB/FB double-header. The VB matches will be played at 2:30, 3:45, and 5:00. The FB game will be played at 7:00. They can be viewed for free and live.

Our District is hosting Screening America this week to detect heart issues in young people. The screening will be on Thursday, October 8. It is available to students 12 years of age and older. Due to the number of our varsity football players in quarantine, there will be no game at Elk Point-Jefferson on Friday, September 25. The game will not be rescheduled. All other school activities this week will take place as scheduled.
Our BHS Wildlife and Fisheries Class enjoyed their morning lab today with Mrs. Bridget Twedt at the beautiful pond by hole numbers six and eight at the Bridges Golf Course. There were some keepers, but all fish caught were released back to the pond!
