On October 15, while out for a run, Canton High School teacher and coach Jordan Hout had a sudden stroke. He spent the following weeks at Sanford Rehabilitation. In December, he was transferred to QLI in Omaha to continue rehab. For the most part, Jordan had to relearn everything. He is making significant gains. He can speak in sentences, walk with a cane, and learn to write using his left hand because his right side is still weak. Jordan and his family are humbled and grateful for the outpouring of support. Tonight (1/20/22), the Beresford FFA Chapter will be holding a Soup Supper before the Beresford vs Canton Basketball game where all proceeds will go to Mr. Hout.
