Hall of Fame Inductee Marvin Wastell joined the Beresford School District on Monday, July 11, 2022, to provide special recognition to the Beresford FFA Chapter and Mrs. Twedt. Marvin Wastell presented the Beresford FFA Chapter with a $2,000 check to help offset rising fuel costs for travel. Mr. Wastell desires that the Beresford School District continues to have students attend leadership and development camps as transportation costs continue to rise. Mr. Wastell also presented the Beresford FFA Chapter with a $500 check as seed money for an Avenue of Flags fundraising opportunity. Mr. Wastell explained how the project works and how it has grown from one flag to 650 flags in the Omaha area. Then, Mr. Wastell presented Mrs. Twedt and her family with a travel opportunity.
