On Monday, October 12, 2026, the Beresford School District's Board of Education (BSD BOE) awarded/approved a competitive sealed proposal for the HVAC project at Beresford Middle/High School based on price and total cost, ability of the proposed personnel of the contractor to perform the project, familiarity with the existing state of the District’s HVAC infrastructure, quality of performance on previous projects, and ability of the entity to perform within the specified timeline. The BSD BOE awarded and approved the response to the request for proposal from G&R Controls in the amount of $274,815. The BSD BOE also reviewed a response to the request for proposal from Hander Mechanical in the amount of $239,935. The proposal from G&R Controls received the higher evaluative score based on price and total cost, ability of the proposed personnel of the contractor to perform the project, familiarity with the existing state of the District’s HVAC infrastructure, quality of performance on previous projects, and ability of the entity to perform within the specified timeline.
