Congratulations to Mrs. Bridget Twedt! Mrs. Twedt was announced as a Golden Owl Ag Educator of the year finalist (the winner will be announced in April). April Hamilton (SD FFA Leadership & Program Manager) and Don Riley Jr. (Owner/Agent of Four Quarters Insurance Group) presented the honor on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. The Beresford School District is proud that Mrs. Bridget Twedt is a Golden Owl Ag Educator Award Finalist.
One of Mrs. Twedt's learners said the following on her application, "She has always pushed the Beresford FFA chapter to excel both in our Blue Jackets and out in our normal lives. Whether it be helping a member get ready for a contest, working on a project for class, driving us all across the state, or making calls for an FFA event. Thanks to her, we have a metal and wood shop, a successful pumpkin and alfalfa field, we are a 2 Star Chapter on the National Level, and have had many Agricultural Placement finalists. She pushes us to do our best, and great success is always our outcome. She truly embodies what an FFA advisor should be!"
