Congratulations to the Beresford High School FFA Chapter on an outstanding performance at the Districts held in Parker on November 12! A number of teams and individuals have qualified for the State Contest in Pierre in December. The top two teams and top three individuals in the District advanced to State.
Qualifiers for State
The Agricultural Communications team placed second. Team members are Cali Boden, Aubrey Boden, Clair Bovill, and Grace Quartier.
The Agricultural Issues team placed second. Team members are Cole Olson, Riley Johnson, Kaysee Christensen, Conner Thaler, Faith Weiland, and Rachel Watkins.
Faith Weiland placed second in Prepared Public Speaking.
Caleb Weiland placed first in Extemporaneous Speaking.
Other Placings
The Senior Parliamentary Procedure team placed third. Team members are Kamrynn Sveeggen, Hayden Wilson, Caleb Weiland, Cadence Stewart, Becca Tiedeman, and Clair Bovill.
The Junior Parliamentary Procedure team placed third. Team members are Sara Sveeggen, George Neuman, Maddie Erickson, Blake Jensen, Lacey Mockler, Caden Aasheim, and Dylan Stenen.
