Congratulations to the Beresford FFA Chapter on an outstanding performance at the November 18 District Leadership Development Events at Parker. The following FFA members and teams placed at the District Contest.
The Junior Parli Pro Team received third place. Team members are Alex Quartier, Macy Quartier, Chloe Hazel, Haleigh Stene, Josie DeLay, Jayden Carlson, and Maddie Erickson.
The Senior Parli Pro Team received second place. Team members are Caleb Weiland, Gavin Bautista, Cadence Stewart, Becca Tiedeman, and Kamrynn Sveeggen.
Trevor Johnson received first place in Ag Broadcasting and Prepared Public Speaking.
In Extemp speaking, Gavin Bautista placed second and Caleb Weiland placed third.
The Ag Issues Team placed second. Team members are Trevor Johnson, Macy Quartier, Becca Tiedeman, Cole Olson, Ashleigh Colford, Lacey Mockler, and Blake Jensen.
The Ag Sales team placed third. Team members are Gayden Johnson, Caden Aasheim, George Neuman, and Gabe Traxler.
Becca Tiedeman was elected as the District Treasurer.
The following FFA students and teams will be moving onto state competition in Pierre on December 8-9: Ag Issues Team, Senior Parli Pro Team, Gavin Bautista and Caleb Weiland in Extemp Speaking, and Trevor Johnson in Ag Broadcasting and Prepared Public Speaking.
