Dr. Anderson

Congratulations to Dr. Renee Anderson, who earned the 2024 Values Driven Work Ethic Pyramid Award from the Southeast Area Principals (SEAP) group! The SEAP group is committed to providing professional learning, networking, and growth opportunities to secondary principals in member schools. The 2024 Values Driven Work Ethic Pyramid Award is based on the following leadership characteristics: life-long learner, driven by a values system, works by the project -not by the hour, has a sense of purpose, and stands up for what is right.

Dr. Anderson is finishing her second year as your Watchdog 6-12 Principal. The Beresford School District is grateful for her leadership. Dr. Renee Anderson embodies a value-driven work ethic because of her ability to do whatever it takes to help our students and staff experience success. Dr. Anderson is a staunch student advocate. As a result, she works by the case/project to help teachers support our learners. More so, she diligently draws upon her expertise, resources, and colleagues to find ways to help all involved. Her resolve matches Dr. Anderson's sense of purpose. Dr. Anderson utilizes research-based strategies to help improve our students' collective efficacy. Her recent work involves the implementation, data tracking, and refinement of a PBIS program at Beresford Middle School. More so, she has worked to improve student literacy outcomes via a middle school-based program called WordGen weekly. As a result of Dr. Anderson's efforts, our learners are practicing their literacy skills in all content areas. One must lead others with a sense of direction/purpose. Dr. Anderson's sense of purpose aligns with student learning and student safety. As a result, Dr. Anderson's actions align with her sense of direction. Her leadership positively impacts our culture daily.
